UPD: On August 12 Axie Infinity announced that they are completely removing token rewards from its classic game mode to attract users to a new game mode called Axie Infinity Origin. It means that users will not be able to mint SLPs (Smooth Love Potion tokens) in the classic version. However, the already minted SLP rewards will be migrated to their new game mode within 30 days, after the team conducts the monitoring phase. This move is said to be taken to balance out the SLP economy. But with all the previous attempt to make economic adjustments, the token is still down almost 99% compared to the all-time high of July 2021. On the other hand, the co-founder of the project mentioned that the project is healing, and it will probably survive the crypto winter. Let’s keep an eye on the notorious P2E game!
