We’re pleased to announce that after a successful #Vasil upgrade on the 22nd of Sept, the new capabilities (including node & CLI support for reference inputs, inline datums, reference scripts), along with a new #Plutus cost model, are now available on the #Cardano mainnet! 🎉 pic.twitter.com/USja3TcJNi

Cardano Vasil Hard Fork was seen as the second-largest event after Ethereum's Merge but was almost totally overshadowed by it. Some experts and cryptocurrency developers expect Cardano along with Solana to become an Ethereum killer, thanks to new advances like improved transaction processing capacity and quicker block propagation times.
Here you can find a long detailed overview of the upgrade, but we feel that even the following numbers are impressive enough:
Power of Vasil! 🔥

We are close to launching our Plutus v2 scripts. Here are some amazing benchmarks showing the upgrade (combining our Orderbook with Liquidity Pools)
Plutus v1 Transaction
Size: 14.73 kB
Fee: 1.44 $ADA
Plutus v2 Transaction
Size: 1.31 kB
Fee: 0.73 $ADA
Plutus V2 reduced the size of transactions by about 10x and reduced fees by about 50%. It was worth waiting for the Vasil upgrade. #Cardano rocks!

We haven’t found any negative comments on the upgrade, but we also do not see any signs of a serious power shift in favour of Cardano. Maybe it will change in the future, we will observe.
